Upon retiring from the corporate world, Janice and Keith Mileski fell in love with the area around Blacksburg VA and purchased a small farm in the area. Soon we succumbed to the lure of Lavender and created several Lavender fields on the farm. The farm was started in 2008 with the concentration on Herbs such as Rosemary, Mints, Sages and of course, Lavender. Within the second year we started concentrating on Lavender only. As the plantings grew, Janice applied her interest in the many wonderful benefits of Lavender and along with Keith’s background and knowledge of chemistry, started to craft a line of Lavender based body care products, lotions, sprays, creams, handcrafted soaps, dog care products, along with a variety of other beneficial products.
The farm now includes over 18 varieties of both Angustifolia and Intermedia Lavenders to enjoy including several Culinary varieties. With amazing vistas, the farm includes a serene setting to walk through the Lavender fields and enjoy the wonderful and relaxing fragrance of Lavender.
